Lions Club Fishing Pier
This project includes the construction of an accessible fishing pier for people with disabilities.  The design includes an 80’ long stable concrete surface, lowered rails for anglers in wheel chairs and a shaded canopy. 

The project is funded through a Lions Club International Foundation grant and donations from local businesses and individuals. The Kiwanis playground was competed in the Summer of 2002 as phase one of this Community Service Project, and is one of only a handful of structures designed specifically for children with disabilities. 

Construction on the pier was completed May of 2004.
