Robert Bosco of El Cajon caught a 11lb. Trout out of lake #3
on yellowcorn PowerBait.
Ray Peterson of El Cajon landed a nice 10lb.3oz. Rainbow out
of lake #4 on a zara puppy.
Ed Decoteau caught a Golden Lightning Trout out of lake #4
on chartreuse PowerBait.
Bob Walker caught a nice rainbow Trout out of lake #3 on
Rainbow PowerBait.
Mike and Jared from Santee reeled in a 7lb.8oz. Trout out of
lake #4 on PowerBait.
Dan Thibault caught an 11lb. Trout out of lake #4 on

of lake #4 on a nightcrawler.
Jerome Johnson of El Cajon an 11lb.12oz. and a 9lb.8oz. Catfish
out of lake #3 on mackerel.
Art Ramierez of Santee caught a 10lb. Catfish out of lake #4 on
a nightcrawler.

caught a 9lb. Catfish was out of lake #4 using night crawlers
Bruce Phen caught a 21lb.3oz.Catfish (see photo above) out of
lake #3 on a bread ball.

BASS:
Brain Grawey caught a 10 lb. Bass out of lake #7 on a Robo
crawdad. He also landed a 14lb.9oz. out of lake #7. This would
have broken the lake record; however it was not weighed by Park Staff
John Peterson of Poway caught a 7lb. Bass out of lake #5
on a jig.
Troy Walsberg of Santee landed a nice 6 lb. Bass out
of lake #5 on a plastic worm.
David Holley of Santee caught a 6lb. Bass out of lake #3
on a plastic worm.
Justin Holley age 13 of Santee caught a 3lb.8oz. Bass out
of lake #5 on a plastic worm.
Norm Breen of San Diego reeled in a 5lb.12oz. Bass out of
lake #5 on a purple robo worm and 4 lb. test. Norm stated "what a
fight on 4 lb. test and ultra light spinning gear"
Michael Garnica of El Cajon caught a 2lb.12oz.Bass out of
lake #4 on a Phoebe spinning lure. The fish was released.
Adam Robert Joyce age 12 of San Diego caught a 5lb. 4oz.
Bass out of lake #5 on a saltwater lure.
CARP:
Brandon Leonard of Spring Valley caught a huge 27lb. Carp out of
lake #4 on a rattletrap!!
Edward Scott of San Diego caught an 18lb. Carp out of lake
#3 on mealworms.
** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Santee Lakes
