ISLAND RESTORATION
Island Vegetation Restoration
This project includes the removal of non-native invasive vegetation from all islands. The areas will then be restored with native plants and trees. |

Three of the islands will be developed for recreational use and for pedestrian access with floating walkways. Trails, picnic shelter, interpretive signage and a rock climbing course will be some of the included features. |
Boulder Island
One of the islands in Lake 5 will include a boulder adventure course designed to blend into the natural setting. Sculpted hand and foot holds create a real rock climbing experience. Climbers can customize their route to their desired difficulty and skill level and explore and maneuver the course at their own pace. Project cost estimate: $200,000 |
