SPRAYGROUND A 1,300 square foot interactive water playground is located at the north end of Lake 1. An “activation” button is used by the children to start the system which begins the pumps and sends water to the various features creating a fun way to beat the heat.


The Sprayground offers children the opportunity to cool off while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Santee Lakes. The Sprayground system uses potable water that is treated, filtered and re-circulated just like a swimming pool. Proposed Lake 5 Sprayground An additional Sprayground will be added near the south east corner of Lake 5. It will be larger than the existing Sprayground near Lake 1 and promises to bring together children of all ages to experience another recreation opportunity in 2011.
