What is the Cancellation Policy during this pandemic?

If you decide to cancel your March or April reservation, the cancellation fee will be waived.

May I have visitors to my campsite?

Do not allow guests/visitors access to Santee Lakes unless you have a medical necessity that requires a family member, relative or friend to assist you.

Is the Campground Swimming Pool Open?

The Campground Swimming Pool is Closed.

How do I check-in and check-out?

Please call the office upon your arrival at 619-596-3141 and staff will get you checked in.

Extended stay campers (30 nights or more) should call the Park Office to check-out and settle their electric usage balance.  Cabins guests should call the Park Office to check out and return cabins keys.

What are the Park hours?

The Day Use portion of our Park is closed at this time.

What are the symptoms of COVID19?

Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.
The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.
• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath

What should I do if I get sick while camping?

If you are sick and on site, please cancel your reservation for a full refund and go home. If that is not an option, self-quarantine inside your RV for 14 days. Please let Park Staff know via email ( if you are in a self-quarantine.

Any tips on cleaning my RV?

Clean surfaces with a disinfectant that are frequently touched inside and outside your RV – things such as countertops, electronics, doorknobs, etc.

What should I do if I am exposed to COVID19?

If you have identified a case of COVD19 in your social circle or tested positive, please let Park Staff know ASAP via email ( so we may follow public health and safety protocols. Self-quarantine for 14 days.

Is the laundry room open?

The laundry room is open and cleaned each morning.  The facility is sanitized hourly.  Please practice social distancing with the other guests while in the laundry room.
