COVID-19 Day Use Protocols FAQ

The Day Use Park is OPEN!

Park hours will be 8:00AM – 6:00PM Monday – Thursday and
6:00AM – 6:00PM Friday – Sunday.

As of Monday, August 17, WALK-IN GATES will be open at 7:00 AM


Walk-in access is available at the front entrance of the Park and Lake 5 walk in gate.  Lake 5 walk-in gate entrance includes dog walking and bikes.  Please limit your exercise to 2 hrs.  Please proceed to the right (north) to avoid construction.


All persons two years old or older must have possession of a face covering when they are within six feet of another person who is not a member of their family or household.  Persons with a medical condition that prevents wearing a face-covering shall be exempt from this requirement.


The public shall not congregate or participate in active sports activities with the exception of members of a single-family or household.  We would recommend bringing your own chairs.


Parking will be limited to designated areas.  The gatehouse attendant will direct you where to park.  Re-entry allowed with car tag. There will be a limited number of guests allowed in the Park. Once we are sold out for the day, the main gate entry will close for day-use guests.


Fishing is allowed if anglers keep a 6 ft. social distance between themselves and other guests. Fishing permits will be sold at the Gatehouse or by outside Park Staff.


All activities with physical distancing are allowed, including bike riding, fishing, roller-skating, & walking.  There is walk-in access allowed at the Lake 5 walk-in gate ONLY, this includes dog walking and bikes. Please proceed to the right (north) to avoid construction. If entering the Park through main entrance, you must drive.

Caregiver supervision required at all times.
•Caregivers must monitor to keep adults and children from
different households at least 6 feet apart.
•DO NOT use the playground when different households are
unable to maintain a physical distance of 6 feet or when thecapacity limit of has been reached.
•Consider coming on different times or days to avoid wait
times and potential crowded times.
•NO eating or drinking in playground.
•Wash or sanitize hands before and after using playground.
•Elderly and persons with underlying medical conditions
should avoid playground when others are present.
•Limit visit to 30 MINUTES per day when others are present.
