Ladies at the Lake Fall Market was created to promote women in business as well as serve as a fun way to kick-off the holiday shopping season. A variety of vendors will be uniquely selected to sell hand crafted pieces and other merchandise that will appeal to everyone in attendance.
• The event is on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00AM-3:00PM. It is a rain or shine event.
• The vendor fee is $100. This fee is non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve Staff.
The fee includes:
o (1) Vendor Parking Pass - $7
o (1) City of Santee Special Event Permit - $10 (All vendors must have a permit)
o (1) 10x10 booth space (vendor provides canopy, table, and chairs)
o Promotional package including: Social media promotions to over 47,000 followers, signage, press releases and partner website advertising.
• Canopies are required, weights for canopy legs are recommended. A limited number of canopies are available to rent for $75.
• A limited number of booths are available with electricity. Electricity fee is $25. These booth locations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate that you would like electric on the application.
Electricity: YOU NEED to PROVIDE a 25 foot 12 gauge minimum extension cord with ground. You will be provided with one dedicated 120 volt outlet. All electrical components are subject to inspection and must meet all national and local electrical codes.
• Read the application forms carefully, and return the completed forms via email at santeelakes@padre.org or web portal by July 7, 2023. Include a photo of your products.
If vendor does not hold a business license and sells occasionally, please fill out the BOE-410 form in the application. Section 6015 sellers will also fill out the BOE-410 form.
Vendors will be chosen by committee, to offer a variety of unique goods and services.
Completed vendor applications for “like retailers” will be date-stamped and selected on a first-come, first-served basis (I.e.: Avon, Color Street, Scentsy, etc. aka Section 6015 seller).
Vendors selected by committee will be notified via email by July 21, 2023 or soon thereafter. Payment instructions will be included at this time.
NEW for 2023:
Vendors have the option to be placed beneath the Lake 1 Gazebo. The fees for these spots are $150 and $175 with electricity. There are 12 spots available, no canopy needed. These spots are first come, first served.
Do not send payment at this time. If anyone solicits payment from you it is not Santee Lakes. We will send a secure payment link in an email from Santee Lakes once you are selected.

THIS AGREEMENT made between Santee Lakes and the above listed entity, herein referred to as “CRAFTSMAN” for exhibition space for the Ladies at the Lake Fall Market to be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Santee Lakes. Exhibition space will be 10’ x 10’. CRAFTSMAN requests permission to display and sell the following SPECIFIC PRODUCTS. (List below, be as specific as possible.) CRAFT VENDOR AFFIRMATION AND LIABILITY RELEASE
I hereby affirm that I have been well advised and thoroughly informed of the inherent hazards and policies of the event. I know that by participating in the Ladies at the Lake Fall Market, I am exposing myself to certain known and unknown liabilities in my direct and indirect actions with the public and invitees of this event. I also understand that if I choose to hire help for the event, that I am directly responsible for their actions or injury. I hereby personally assume all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event for any harm, injury or damage that may befall me or any employee or temporary help, as a result of my participation, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
I understand and agree that neither Padre Dam Municipal Water District nor Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve in the town of Santee and the state of California, its employees, volunteers and/or directors and officers may be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with my participation in the Ladies at the Lake Fall Market 2023 event that may result in theft, injury, death, or other damages to me or my family, heirs, or assigns, and in consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby personally assume all risks in connection with said event for any harm, injury, or damage that may befall me, including all risks connected therewith, whether foreseen or unforeseen; and further to save and hold harmless said event and persons from any claim by me, or my family, estate, heirs, or assigns arising out of my participation in this event.
I further state that I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this affirmation and release, or that I have acquired the written consent of my parents or guardians; that I understand the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital; and that I have signed this document of my own free will.
It is my intention by this instrument affirmed by my signature below to exempt and release Padre Dam Municipal Water District and Santee Lakes, its employees, volunteers, directors and officers from all liability whatsoever for personally injury, employer’s liability and workers’ compensation, property damage or wrongful death arising out of or in the course of my participation in this event.
I HAVE FULLY INFORMED MYSELF OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS AFFIRMATION AND RELEASE BY READING IT BEFORE I SIGN IT.

VENDOR AGREES TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS
Ladies at the Lake Fall Market, October 14, 2023:
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The event opens to the public at 10:00 AM on Saturday and closes at 3:00 PM. Booth exhibits must be in order by 9:30 AM. Vendor may not break down booth until 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 14th, 2023.
VENDOR PARKING PASSES:
Vendors will be issued one parking pass.
There will be designated Vendor Parking.
Once your items are unloaded into your booth space, you MUST move your vehicle to Vendor Parking.
SET-UP:
Canopies are required. Booth space is 10'x10'.
Maximum size of all canopies are 10'x10'. Any canopy larger than 10'x10' will not be allowed.
Booth setup may begin as early as 7:00 AM on Saturday, October 14th, ending at 9:30 AM, at which time all vehicles must be removed to the vendor parking area.
Booth site designation is determined by Event Management and no alteration to the site designation will be tolerated.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Housekeeping of the exhibit areas and its immediate vicinity will be the responsibility of the vendor.
At the end of the event, your area must be left as you found it – pristine and clean.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
Consumption of alcoholic beverages on premises during event hours is strictly prohibited. If vendor or their worker/volunteer violates the above rule, that vendor will be asked to leave Ladies at the Lake Fall Market..
LIVE ANIMALS:
No live animals are permitted at your booth or at the LATL event area. This includes the use of animals for display, sale, or demonstration.
ELECTRICITY:
Electricity will be available to a very limited number of booths for $25 on a first-come first-served basis.
No electrical generators will be allowed.
