Campground Check-In & Check-Out

Campers can check in during Park Hours at the Gatehouse.  If checking in after Park hours, please follow the directions below.

After Hours Check-In 

1.   Please refer to your registered email for the current gate code, bathroom code and Wi-Fi password (this email is sent out to all guests on Fridays) Gate code will be used at the front gate, and again in the left lane at the Gatehouse booth. 

2.  Locate your campsite on the campground map HERE or grab a paper copy from the brochure box located near the gatehouse keypad 

3.   Proceed directly to your campsite 

4.   Please stop by the Santee Lakes Park Office located at Lake 5 between the hours of 9AM-5PM the day after your arrival to pick up your vehicle parking pass.  

5.   If you experience any issues, please contact Park Staff at 619-596-3141 and leave a message with your name, phone number, and site number. Staff routinely patrol the Park, however there may be a delay in response. Camp Hosts can assist with any issues you may have and can be found at the following sites:

Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of $25 plus an additional *10% of the total cancellation fee. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the arrival date or for an early departure. 

A City of Santee 10% occupancy tax will be charged on camping reservations under 30 days and all cabin reservations.
