Fishing Events

We have great Fishing Events at Santee Lakes every year for all ages!

No State license is required, you can purchase your permit at the General Store or Gatehouse.

Catfish Season:

We stock our Lakes year round with over 35,000 lbs. of Catfish and Rainbow Trout on a seasonal basis! Bluegill and Bass are also prevalent. We have a catch and release policy on Large-mouth Bass.

Bring your lanterns and join us for our Night Fishing events from 5:00PM-11:30PM on the following dates in 2025, now including Fridays:

STOCKZILLA – September 13 & 14, 2025

This is a mega Catfish Stock Event at Santee Lakes. 3,500lbs. of Catfish will be stocked. Book your campsites NOW! You must be a registered Camper to fish in Lakes 6 & 7.
