Sunny days ahead!
We are sure we are not the only ones happy to see such a sunny forecast! It has been beautiful to see the poppies on the hillside and around the county, and hopefully they will be there for many days to enjoy! As the weather warms up here at the Lakes, we hope your find some great things to do and see at the Park and around San Diego county.

The Lakes
Have you heard of the Park’s Dynamic Vision Plan? It’s a flexible plan for the future of Santee Lakes and includes some great projects such as the newly paved west side of the Park, with new lush landscape, parking, and picnic areas! Other completed projects are the new parking area near Lake One Gazebo and a beautiful shade shelter over the Kiwanis Playground (which was partially funded by a grant from the American Melanoma Foundation and Santee Santas). Now we will be breaking ground soon on the General Store and Administration Building project! So many improvements are coming and we can’t wait! We will keep you posted about the details, but you should know, it includes a stunning deck that overlooks Lake 4 and seats 300 guests! Stay tuned!
Campground
The Clubhouse is getting a fresh coat of paint to go with the newly resurfaced pools and parking lot!
Don’t forget, if you are camping with us, there are great events in the Clubhouse on a weekly basis and the perfect way to meet new people from all over the country.
