You can also take your sweetheart on a pedal boat ride and feed them chocolates while you

Camp Hosts
Where ya from?
Barbara is a native San Diegan and Roger moved here in 1959. Barbara went to El Capitan High School and Roger went to Kearny. They graduated in 1964 and were married in 1966.
What do you like about your job?
They enjoy their job, mostly due to the staff support and the camaraderie with their fellow hosts. This is their 6th year here and they’ve hosted in a variety of positions.
What are your favorite foods?
Roger’s favorite food is Barbara’s tuna casserole and Barbara’s is Mexican and pizza.
What do you enjoy when you are not volunteering?
His fun fact is riding his bicycle and hers is working jigsaw puzzles and reading. They both like walking – especially here in the park.
